About
I was grew up in Sorowako, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. A small town with 12 hours bus ride from Makassar the capital of South Sulawesi province. It teach me a lot about playing around with nature like swimming at the lake, hiking the hills, camping in the forest, or play around in the rivers. I left my hometown to studied at Malang, East Java, and move again to Bandung, West Java to get into university. I can call Bandung as my home now, after more than 15 years live in the city. But now currently based in Jakarta.
I’m a developer who passionately believes the web is the future of games and applications. I started out with HTML when still at high school, and start my own studio ThinkRooms – an application and game development studio which specializes in web technology. Now the studio is shutted down because I’m persuing my journey to travel and working with global web developers.
I’m a community enthusiast, in 2010 me and several friends initiated FOWAB, Bandung internet creative worker community; and HackerspaceBDG, the first coworking space in Indonesia.
Now I’m working as developer advocate in web developer relations team of Google. Previously I was working with The Asia Foundation as Lead Developer Outreach at The Asia Foundation, Head of Incubation of Kolaborasi Kapital Indonesia(KKI). Outside of my job as Web DevRel, I’m learning about photography, ride my bike, playing basket ball with friends, and currently explore to build a hostel to connect traveller and local people.
